Davidson Speaker Series in Full Swing!

Keith PearceOver the summer, Sherry Davidson decided to host a series of speakers at Davidson Realty’s community room to share information from professionals in World Golf Village with St. Johns County residents. Just to make it more fun, she decided to serve wine and cheese during the events!

We had no idea what to expect at the first one in August when Stephanie Harriett spoke. To make us a bit more anxious, there were horrible thunderstorms that night. (If you have ever planned an event, you know the weather can drastically impact your attendance!) However, we had over 30 people attend and Stephanie provided all kinds of useful information about wills, trusts and estate planning.

In September, we had even more people attend when Lansing Roy talked about bankruptcy and ways to avoid foreclosure. The attendees appreciated the insight and enjoyed visiting with each other before and after his speech. The feedback was phenomenal.

On October 8, we are excited to present Keith Pearce. Keith is a CPA and a Realtor, so he has a unique perspective on how to create “Short-term Solutions to Long-term Wealth”. He will share where the real estate market is now and how we got here. He will also go through the numbers to evaluate if real estate is still a good investment and talk about the tax implications of investing in real estate. Just to keep it interesting, Keith will touch on why tenants and toilets aren’t really that bad too! As mentioned before, we will be serving wine and cheese, starting at 7:00 p.m. at Davidson Realty. Keith will begin speaking at 7:30 p.m. and be available for one-on-one questions following his presentation.
