Davidson Realty Forms Foundation to Support Local Schools

We are proud to announce the creation of our new Davidson Cares Foundation to support education and our local schools, including Wards Creek Elementary School, Mill Creek Elementary School, Palencia Elementary School and Pacetti Bay Middle School. It will be funded by Davidson Realty’s proceeds from real estate sales and fundraising events. Says Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson, “Quality education and excellent public schools are integral to building a thriving, desirable community.”  She added, “Davidson Realty has been donating to local schools for years but we wanted to do more than just give money.  Davidson Cares gives us the opportunity to donate our time, resources and business proceeds in support of our community.”

The Davidson Cares program will present each of the four local schools listed above with an educational grant between $500 and $1000 in support of one winning idea. Additionally, the schools will receive a bonus grant based on the amount of total school votes. The schools have until October 31, 2012 to submit grant applications.  Voting will open to the public on November 9th and grants will be awarded in mid-February.  Full details are available at www.DavidsonCares.com.
