First Davidson Cares Fundraiser Exceeds Expectations with Over $6,000 Raised for our Local St. Johns County Public Schools!

Giving back is fun!  Especially when it’s enjoying great brews and tasty treats with neighbors and friends.  We were blown away by the support at our first Davidson Cares fundraiser at Mile Marker Brewery last Friday night to benefit our local St. Johns County schools.  About 200 people came out to support our schools, including Mill Creek Elementary, Wards Creek Elementary, Palencia Elementary, and Pacetti Bay Middle School. It was truly amazing to receive so much support for our new Davidson Cares program from our awesome agents and staff, Mile Marker Brewery and other local businesses, neighbors, parents and teachers alike.  More than $6,000 was raised.  

Dos Gringos kept the music coming, while people enjoyed a taco bar by Moe’s Southwestern Grill and delicious peppermint bark donated by Turtle Treats. The silent auction was a hit and people had a blast shopping their favorite items. We had over 40 items donated and purchased by the end of the night! A huge thank you to everyone who donated their time, services or products to make the silent auction so successful!

The best news of all is that $6,000 is only the beginning! We have more fundraisers in the works, so watch for details coming soon. In the meantime, please visit www.davidsoncares.com and vote for your favorite video from each school to help them win a $500 – $1,000 grant. The number of total votes from each school determines how much money they receive from the Davidson Cares fundraisers.
