Davidson Cares 2.0 – More Fundraisers and More Money for our Local Schools!

We couldn’t be more excited to launch Davidson Cares 2.0! As many of you know, Davidson Cares is the corporate giving program of Davidson Realty and the Davidson Companies. We offer support for local schools in the World Golf Village area, including Mill Creek Elementary, Wards Creek Elementary, Palencia Elementary and Pacetti Bay Middle School. For the 2012 – 2013 year, we donated a total of $11,300 in less than six months to the four schools and this year we plan on raising the bar even higher!

Get ready for some awesome fundraising events! We are kicking off our fundraising efforts with our $2500 Travel Raffle. You could win $2500 towards a vacation for you and your family, while supporting our local schools at the same time! The Davidson Cares Travel Raffle is a chance to win $2500 for travel, including airfare, accommodations and entertainment for the trip you and your family want to take. I would like to share a few insights from Dr. John Tucillo, the chief economist for Florida Realtors who spoke in Jacksonville recently.

  • 1- The real estate market is heavily tied to employment. Employment will not change significantly unless we have new industries to create employment or we restore manufacturing. Read more

Davidson Realty Named Agency of Record for Several Hutson Companies’ Holdings

Real Estate Development Expert Jim Davidson Appointed by Hutson to Market its Extensive Real Estate Holdings

Davidson Realty is pleased to announce its appointment as Agency of Record for several major land holdings by Hutson Companies, including SilverLeaf Plantation, OakLeaf Plantation and the 8,557-acre Hutson Ranch.  In addition, Hutson has asked Jim Davidson to serve as Vice President focusing on sales and marketing efforts.

Davidson Realty will provide Hutson with real estate consulting and brokerage services.  As part of its appointment, the company has entered into an exclusive brokerage agreement with the Hutson Companies’ affiliate, AFI Associates, Inc., to market and sell the remaining Hutson holdings in OakLeaf Plantation.  Davidson Realty is also the exclusive broker for the sale of St. Johns County timber and farmland owned by Elkton Green, Inc., another of Hutson’s affiliates.
