Davidson Cares 2.0 – More Fundraisers and More Money for our Local Schools!

We couldn’t be more excited to launch Davidson Cares 2.0! As many of you know, Davidson Cares is the corporate giving program of Davidson Realty and the Davidson Companies. We offer support for local schools in the World Golf Village area, including Mill Creek Elementary, Wards Creek Elementary, Palencia Elementary and Pacetti Bay Middle School. For the 2012 – 2013 year, we donated a total of $11,300 in less than six months to the four schools and this year we plan on raising the bar even higher!

Travel Raffle: Oct. 28 – Feb. 8

Get ready for some awesome fundraising events! We are kicking off our fundraising efforts with our $2500 Travel Raffle. You could win $2500 towards a vacation for you and your family, while supporting our local schools at the same time! The Davidson Cares Travel Raffle is a chance to win $2500 for travel, including airfare, accommodations and entertainment for the trip you and your family want to take. The raffle will run from Monday, October 28th to Saturday, February 8th.

Mile Marker Brewing Fundraiser: Nov. 8

Davidson Realty and Mile Marker Brewing’s Second Annual Davidson Cares Fundraiser is happening on Friday, November 8th at Mile Marker Brewing. Make sure to mark your calendars and join us for the best local brews, cool raffle items, great food and miles of fun! This event was so much fun last year and this year will be even better.

Davidson Cares World Golf Village 5K: Feb. 8

Our last fundraising event is the Davidson Cares 5K Race on Saturday, February 8th. The race will be held in The Village. Runners, walkers, strollers and dogs are all welcome! There will be exciting kid’s activities, a mile long kid’s fun run, vendors and more. Make sure to stick around for the announcement of the Travel Raffle winner after the race!

Thank you to our incredible Title Sponsors for making Davidson Cares 2.0 possible! Dr. DePasquale, DO., specializes in ear, nose and throat medicine. She is a World Golf Village neighbor and believes in the Davidson Cares vision. Our friends at Bank of England have supported Davidson Cares from the beginning donating a portion of their business with Davidson Realty to Davidson Cares. We are so excited to have them on board as a Title Sponsor this year! And, another generous donor from the beginning, Mile Marker Brewing, will be our third Title Sponsor this year. They donated 40% of their proceeds at last year’s First Annual Davidson Cares Event and this year they are taking it to the next level.
