Davidson Welcomes Dedicated New Agent Candy Gil

We are pleased to welcome a new agent Candy Gil to the Davidson Realty team of pros.  An experienced cross-cultural communicator, Candy brings to her new position a great ear for listening to client needs and an inspired passion for real estate.  Says Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson, “Candy understands the value of maintaining open communication with clients and doing her best to meet their needs.  We’re glad to have Candy on our team.”

Born in Cuba’s Oriente province, Candy and her family relocated to Miami when she was nine years old.  After marrying her high school sweetheart, she spent several busy years welcoming children Vanessa and Edward and undergoing family relocations.  The Gil family settled in Jacksonville in 1982.  She then dedicated six years to Christ Church preschool as the school’s first Spanish teacher and spent several years as an English/Spanish interpreter.

Candy has always considered real estate to be something she wanted to pursue, and she is eager to offer the same level of service provided to her by dedicated agents who helped her as a buyer.  She says had it not been for the agents who took the time to learn about her family and their priorities, the Gils would never have found the great neighborhoods where they lived and made lasting friendships.

In her free time, Candy and her husband enjoy exploring the First Coast area, playing golf, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
