Davidson Cares’ 5k & Kid’s Fun Run Takes Over World Golf Village on February 8th!

If you haven’t already heard, World Golf Village is the place to be on Saturday, February 8th! That’s right, Davidson Cares is taking over The Village to support our local St. Johns County public schools, including Wards Creek Elementary, Mill Creek Elementary, Palencia Elementary and Pacetti Bay Middle School. There will be all kinds of great family fun activities, all of which benefits our schools.

The Davidson Cares’ 5k will begin at 11 am (registration at 9:45 am) in The Village. Runners, walkers, strollers and dogs are all welcome to participate. The race will be chipped and timed for runners and walkers and it’s open to all ages! Adults pay $25 until February 1st and then $30 up to and on race morning. It’s $10 for children 16 years or younger then $15 after February 1st. Teachers and school staff only pay $20 (email Peyton at pdavidson@davidsonrealtyinc.com to get the coupon code). Also, the Kid’s Mile Long Fun Run is FREE and all participants will receive a medal!

Bring your families from 10 am – 2 pm to take advantage of awesome kid’s activities like giant hamster balls, laser tag, a bouncy house, face painting, temporary tattoos, a U:launcher, and more all to raise money for the schools. There will be delicious food for sale by S.O.S Diner and Tailgater Toby Jax (50% of proceeds goes to Davidson Cares) and Title Sponsor Mile Marker Brewing will be dishing out some delicious brews. Make sure to stick around for the announcement of the $2500 Travel Raffle winner after the race!
