From Denim to Diamonds – Team Davidson Celebrated the Success of 2013 in Style!

Every year, the Davidson Companies throw a themed awards banquet to celebrate all the hard work of the previous year and honor our top producing agents. This year’s theme was Denim & Diamonds and based off of Oprah Winfrey’s quote, “When I look into the future, it’s so bright it burns my eyes.” We know 2014 is going to be brighter than we can even imagine!

Our agents and staff had a wonderful night at the St. Augustine Gun Club enjoying delicious food catered by Blackstone Grille, taking silly photos in the photo booth and dancing the night away to music by the very talented Katie Gillard. We were all decked out to the nines in our denim and diamonds!

The awards ceremony is always such a special part of the night. This year, we were lucky enough to have our partners at Bank of England there to hand out the awards, while Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson spoke about each honoree. Here are our winners:

The top award of the night went to Triple Crown winner, Mirtha Barzaga. She was our 2013 Listing Agent of the Year, Sales Agent of the Year and Closing Agent of the Year. Mirtha had over $15 million in sales and over $13 million closed. She had incredible success in 2013 and has set her goals even higher for this year!

Davidson agents Suzy Evans, Pauline Cake and Woody Cake also had exceptional years. Suzy had $10 million sold and $10 million closed. Pauline and Woody had $10 million sold and $11 million closed. Ted Tyndall took home an award for $6 million sold and $5 million closed. And, Beverly Morse had $4 million sold and $4 million closed.

Jock and Leah Ochiltree, Ana Speziale, Ben English, Ron Savarese, Margherite Myers, Maxine Levy, Jennifer Todd and Lynn Whitley were all in the $3 million dollar range. And, Michelle Gonzalez and Loreal Greathouse had $2 million. Congratulations to all!

Other big awards of the night included our Rookies of the Year and the President’s Awards. Davidson agents Caitlyn Hawkins, Ben English, Debra Pappas and Amy Anderson all took home Rookie of the Year awards for their outstanding beginning in the real estate field. Davidson agent Maxine Levy and Davidson staff member Peyton Davidson were recognized with the President’s Awards.

Property Management Awards went to Ann Kuss for the Most In-House Rentals in 2013, Andrea Gallagher for the Most Properties Referred in 2013, and Cindi Powel was Davidson Property Management’s 2013 Rookie of the Year.

Lastly, we thanked our amazing staff members and agents with service awards that have been with us through thick and thin – Cindy Vaughn (15 years), Ricky Horton (21 years), Sharon King (10 years), Woody Cake (10 years), Lynn Whitley (5 years), Suzy Evans (5 years), Jennifer Todd (5 years) and Ana Speziale (5 years).

We are thankful to have such loyal staff and agents! We plan to continue shining bright like a diamond throughout 2014!
