We are excited to welcome yet another outstanding agent to the Davidson team! Ruby Carey brings to us 35 solid years of experience in real estate sales and property appraising. Says Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson, “Ruby not only has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field, she is also committed to going the extra mile for each of her clients. We are happy to welcome her.”

In 1979, Ruby launched her career with a real estate appraisal company in Key West, Florida. After relocating to Jacksonville in 1985, she pursued her real estate license and began her sales career as well as continued property appraising.  She established and operated her own appraisal company in 1999. Ruby’s passion for real estate sales also continued to grow and she became a full-time Realtor in 2008. Today, she is focused on leveraging her years of experience and unwavering dedication to honesty and open communication to create a great customer experience.

A country girl at heart, Ruby grew up with a love for horses and spent much of her youth on her grandparents’ farm. When she was eight, her family moved to San Diego, California, where her father, who was in the U.S. Navy, was stationed at Lemoore Army Airfield and Moffett Federal Airfield. The family was later transferred to Key West. After marrying her high school sweetheart in 1973, Ruby dedicated herself to raising their two children.

Ruby enjoys spending quality time with her family (especially her five beautiful grandchildren), spending time at church, cooking, hospitality, boating, fishing, listening to music, and traveling.
