Harlem Wizards Event Delivers Nothing But Net (Proceeds for Pacetti Bay)!

We are delighted to announce that the Harlem Wizards event on Friday, May 23 at Pacetti Bay Middle School was a huge hit! The exhibition game, title sponsored by Davidson Realty and hosted by Pacetti Bay’s PTSO, sold about 500 tickets and raised approximately $5,000 for the school!

Davidson’s own Shelby Heinemann also helped out by securing the Renaissance Hotel at World Golf Village to house the Wizards players during their stay.

The Wizards faced off against the “Wildcats”, which included a team of teachers, staff and principals from local schools. The Wildcats team included:

  • From Pacetti Bay Middle School, Shawn Ryan, Meghan Ryan, Dan Hawkinson and Kim Schwenk
  • From Ward’s Creek Elementary School, Kevin Klein, Holly Badget and Krista Bittengle
  • From Mill Creek Elementary School, Principal Riedl and Mr. Gamel
  • From Nease High School, Josh Bailen
  • From Palencia Elementary School, Principal Anderson and Ms. Royal

Many thanks to these good spirited participants as well as students, parents and fans for coming out to support Pacetti Bay in its efforts to procure updated technology for its classrooms. Other generous sponsors included Fields Cadillac as a “Slam Dunk Sponsor” as well as Kangaroo Express, Little Caesar’s, Publix, I9 Sports, Smoothie Fresh and others as ad sponsors.
