Sherry Davidson Joins DBPR “Celebrating Women in Business” Panel

Sherry Davidson will join other female business leaders to provide insights and advice as part of a discussion panel at the 4th Annual Celebrating Women in Business event on Friday, May 29. Hosted by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), the event begins at 1 p.m. at the Midtown Centre in Jacksonville.

“I am a big believer in sharing knowledge and experience to help champion professional development for women,” said Sherry. “This business panel is one of those valuable opportunities for all of us to learn and share with each other.”

Sherry will join four other panelists to discuss their professional and business-related experiences, as well as provide tips and advice. The panelists include the following:
Sherry Davidson, President of Davidson Realty, Davidson Property Management, Davidson Referral Network and Davidson Cares, and Vice President of Davidson Development
Elizabeth Meyer, Chief of Disabled Services Division and American Disabilities Act Coordinator for the City of Jacksonville
Ginny Fincel, Chair of the Florida Board of Cosmetology and a licensed cosmetologist
Chriss Brown, Partner and manager at Jacksonville’s 927 Events, and owner and operator of Beaver Street Commissary
Audrey Moran, Senior Vice President for Social Responsibility and Community Advocacy at Baptist Health

“This event is part of the department’s celebration of the strength and leadership of women and is intended to provide an opportunity for women business leaders to network and gather tips from their peers,” said Chelsea Eagle, DBPR’s Deputy Director of Communications.

Midtown Centre is located at 4161 Carmichael Avenue, Building 3300, in Jacksonville. The RSVP-only event will take place in the 2nd floor conference room.
