Homes For Heroes Realtor Ana Speziale Gives Back 25% Commissions to Local Heroes

We’re pleased to announce Davidson Realty’s Ana Speziale recently became certified as a Homes for Heroes Real Estate Agent Affiliate. As an Affiliate, Ana gives back 25% of commissions to the heroes she helps through the real estate buying and selling process. Heroes include active or retired firefighters, medical emergency and healthcare professionals, military, law enforcement and teachers —all of whom work tirelessly to make our lives safer, healthier and better overall.

The Homes for Heroes program was launched after the events of 9/11 to show gratitude to these heroes through rewards, rebates and discounts when buying, selling, renting or refinancing a home.

Ana says the program’s mission is close to her heart.

“Homes for Heroes was a perfect fit for me,” says Ana. “I taught for 20 years in the Miami Dade County public school system and my late husband was a public school administrator for 29-plus years. My sister and two brothers-in-law are military veterans; I also have several personal ties to every category in the Homes for Heroes program.”

She added, “This is my way of saying ‘thanks for your service.'”

After earning her Homes for Heroes Affiliate designation, Ana got right to work helping heroes to leverage the program. So far, she’s helped a nurse, teacher, retired police officer and two military veterans to save thousands on their home sales and purchases.

So, how does the program work? Upon completing a closing for a qualified recipient, Ana returns 25% of commissions, which appears on the closing statement. If it’s a cash purchase with minimal closing costs, the Hero may choose to donate the overage to a charity of their choosing.
