Davidson Networking Spotlight: Tammy Lassins at DIY Marketing Solutions

If there is one thing shared by everyone at Davidson Realty’s monthly Networking Events, it’s hustle. No one embodies that quality more than Tammy Lassins.

Driven by an innate desire to help people, Tammy dove into network marketing more than 20 years ago—while raising six children! Over the years, she has developed a wealth of knowledge in effective and affordable brand promotion.

Tammy launched DIY Marketing Solutions in March 2018 to share the abundance of knowledge and experience she has gained over the past two decades. She also recently completed her designation as a Certified Affiliate by Royaltie, a company specializing in online lead generation solutions.

What is DIY Marketing Solutions all about?  I show small businesses how to get their brand, product or service seen on thousands of the most popular websites and apps in the world, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, CNN, Forbes, ABC, CBS, NBC and even the biggest social media advertiser Google.

What inspired you to launch your own business?  I realized that there was a need for more affordable ways for small businesses to market their brand and help them grow their business. I struggled for years not knowing how to advertise, let alone having the ability to afford it. Marketing yourself and building your brand can be quite frustrating and expensive, but it doesn’t have to be. That’s where I come in.

What does it mean to be a Certified Royaltie Affiliate?  It means I completed the training necessary to be able to explain and guide my customers and team of affiliates to effectively market their brand. Even though training is always ongoing, you can never learn too much.

What sets Royaltie apart from other similar services?  As a whole, we have no competition. You would have to break all that Royaltie offers into little pieces and sell them separately like unlimited capture pages, sales funnels, landing pages, websites, etc., along with unlimited and ongoing training and support, weekly overviews and live Q&As with the CEO and VP of Marketing. All of these are complimentary when you become a customer. The only thing you pay for is your Virtual Billboard Ad Pins and we are in the lead on that technology.

What has been your biggest career win?  My great wins are coming in every day. It’s when a client or affiliate calls me and tells me how I have helped them get more eyes on their business and more leads, and how they couldn’t have done it without me. Honestly, I can’t take the credit for that. It was them simply looking for a better way; I just showed them how.

What do you like to do in your free time?  First and foremost, I love spending time with my family. I love riding motorcycles, going to the movies, and I play a little guitar, but don’t seem to have the time for that. I love love love meeting new people; whether it’s online or face-to-face, I am and always will be a PEOPLE PERSON!!! I love to travel and experience new foods from around the world and I love to cook.

What business advice would you give your younger self just starting out?  Never ever give up. Don’t procrastinate, and if you fall, pick yourself right back up, brush your knees off and continue to move forward. Your dreams are in the palms of your hands. Go for it!!! You can do and be anything you put your mind to.
