We are off to a sizzling start to summer closing out the second quarter of 2023 with a strong June finish!   It’s time to recognize our top agents who made it all happen.  We are so proud of all their accomplishments!  Here’s what we asked them this month: For anyone moving here to our beautiful first coast from out of the area or anyone visiting what would you recommend as a “Must See, Must Do” top area or top attraction to visit?

Our Top Producer for June and our Jacksonville Beach Team Top Producer and Top Sales Agent for the 2^nd Quarter is Jennifer Todd with over 2.3 Million in closings and 2.3 Million in pending sales.

Jennifer – There are so many wonderful things to do and see on the First Coast of Florida.  Here are a few “Must See” places and I’m certain they will lead you to discover more fascinating places!

Downtown Historic St. Augustine! Stroll the streets to enjoy the history, beautiful architecture, and some of the best restaurants. I strongly recommend the Trolly Tour. You can hop on and off and the tour guides are so knowledgeable.

Our beaches are beautiful from Atlantic Beach and south to Anastasia Island. All of the beaches have easy access. The Guana State Park is in between Jacksonville and St. Augustine. Mickler Beach is in Ponte Vedra, Jacksonville Beach is miles long with Huguenot Beach to the north.

There are fishing charters throughout the area and you can enjoy the ocean fishing and Intracoastal waters… 

Golf, Golf, Golf!!! Depending on the level of golf you play, there is a course for you.

Our Top Producing Team in both closings and pending sales for June and the Quarter is The Nemethy Group with Shelley and Tim Nemethy.  They had over 6.7 Million in closings and 6.6 Million in overall pending sales in the quarter.

Shelley & Tim – The First Coast has so much to offer a new resident or a visitor! It is difficult to know where to begin! We are partial to St Augustine Beach, so let’s start there! Candy – Whether this is your first visit to the First Coast or your fifth, St. Augustine is always a must.  Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Castillo De San Marcos, The Lighthouse and many more.  There is always new restaurant to try.  My husband and I recently ate at Llamas, Peruvian Cuisine, the Chef and Owner, Marcel Vizcarra, prepares the most delicious dishes and the presentation is beautiful.  However, plan ahead and make reservations since the restaurant has, max, 10 tables.  A lovely place to stay is The Marian House B&B within walking distance to many attractions and other restaurants.  Take time to take a tour of Flagler College and last but not least, visit our many beautiful beaches.

If you’re a golfer, you have tons of golf courses to choose from but take a drive to The Players Championship Clubhouse where you can enjoy breakfast,  lunch, dinner, or just stop by for a drink. Beautiful venue.

Ron – Our Lady Le Leche shrine.  Maybe not for the religious significance if so inclined but it being the first place a Catholic Mass was celebrated in the US.

Our Top Producer, Top Lister, and Top Overall Sales for the 2nd Quarter with over 3.2 Million in closings and 3.6 Million in overall pending sales is Mirtha Barzaga.

Mirtha – Coming to St Augustine is better than Disneyland, there is something to do for everyone. If you want to tour and learn about the city there are many ways of going about it. You can do a trolley guided tour, or a hop-on hop-off trolley tour. You can also take an electric cart private tour.  There is even a personal guided historical tour, not to mention a romantic horse and carriage guided tour.  If you are into ghost or paranormal experiences, there is a tour for that too.  There are so many ways to experience our history and architecture.

If you enjoy the water a scenic boat ride will provide you with unique views of the city from the cool water ways.  You can also take a sunset cruise and experience the most beautiful sunsets you can imagine.  You can choose a boat that offers alcoholic beverages or one that does not and is more family friendly.   For the daring there is even an Airboat tour with guide to show you all that this coast offers, a Dolphin Kayak tour or why not a Helicopter ride over the city?

Nothing I have mentioned however compares to our Christmas Celebration which starts Mid November to the end of January called the Nights of Lights, people come from all over the world to see the unbelievable display of lights our city puts together every year accompanied by holiday music, carolers, and street vendors in the Plaza de la Constitution, another historic landmark.  There is no Christmas celebration better than the one our Old City offers for almost 3 months every year.
