Davidson Cares’ Novemberfest Fundraiser Raises Over $8,000 for St. Johns County Schools!

With over $8,000 raised for Wards Creek Elementary, Mill Creek Elementary, Palencia Elementary and Pacetti Bay Middle School in a single night, we are just getting started! We had a wonderful night at Mile Marker Brewing for Davidson Cares’ Second Annual Novemberfest fundraiser rocking out to Dos Gringos, grubbing on Moe’s Taco Bar and bidding on awesome silent auction and raffle items all in the name of St. Johns County Schools. We love mixing work, fun and giving back!

A big thank you goes out to all the supporters and donators for this year’s event. We have to give a special shout out to Bank of England, this year’s Novemberfest title sponsor and everyone who donated money or auction items to make Novemberfest such a big success. We raised more than $3,000 on raffle and auction items alone.

So, what’s next for Davidson Cares? We have two more fundraisers happening before we give out the big pot of money to the four schools mentioned above in April. First, be sure to get your raffle ticket for the Davidson Cares’ Vacation Raffle for a chance to win $2500 for travel, including airfare, accommodations and entertainment for the trip you and your family want to take. Tickets are $10 per ticket or three for $25 and they are on sale now. The winner of the Vacation Raffle will be drawn at our last fundraiser for the year, the Davidson Cares 5k and Kid’s Fun Run on Saturday, February 8th in World Golf Village. Runners, walkers, strollers and dogs are all welcome for a family fun day in The Village. There will be exciting kid’s activities like giant hamster balls, laser tag, a bouncy house, temporary tattoos, a mile long kid’s fun run, and more! Delicious food will be available and Mile Marker brews!
