Davidson Realty’s 2014 Baseball Contest Knocks it out of the Park!

As many of you know, Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson is a baseball fanatic (Go Braves!), so every year we have a baseball-inspired contest, which she “umpires”. The contest lasts thirty days and the agents are split into four teams, each with managers, listing coaches and closing coaches to encourage and help them through the month. The agents earn points based on attending sales meetings, listing a property, selling a property, winning the week (a Buffini & Company activity that helps them keep in touch with customers), closing a property, etc.

This year, we were lucky enough to have Will Li of Heekin Law, Ed Gil with Davidson Development, and Troy Silhan and Andrew Merritt with Bank of England to manage our teams. We can’t guarantee it was all due to the contest, but Davidson Realty had an incredible month in April with over more than $24 million in sales and more than $15 million in closings!

Congratulations to Ed Gil’s team, Pre-Approved to Win, for coming out on top! Ed’s team beat Troy Silhan’s team by only one point! Ed likes to note that he is a back-to-back champion because he also won last year’s baseball contest. His team consisted of Listing Coach Mirtha Barzaga, Closing Coach Ana Speziale, and Davidson agents Karen Stern, Michelle Gonzalez, Candy Gil, Amy Anderson, Debra Pappas, Mike Narace, Tim Overman, Terri Overman, Don Gibson, Mark Kraus and Jennifer Henriott.

We want to mention our Rookies of the Year and MVP’s. The standout Rookies are Lera Hamm, David Tiller, Tim Overman, Terri Overman, and Shelley Nemethy. Our MVP’s are Maxine Levy, Rachel Mateo, Michelle Gonzalez and Shelley Nemethy. Awesome job, guys!

As you can tell, we have a lot of fun here at Davidson Realty! We had a big celebration of the end of the baseball contest hosted by Bank of England on Cinco de Mayo with trophies, margaritas and great company! Congratulations on an amazing month of sales and closings to all four teams: Pre-Approved to Win, Sultans of Swat, Victorious Secrets, and Team Balco.
