Jacksonville ranks high in the Money’s list of best big U.S. cities!

In November of 2018 News3Jax reported that Jacksonville has been ranked 9th among big cities in the US for best job growth, cost of living, and popular attractions. Garrett Pelican reported “Jacksonville’s population has increased by almost 9% the past 8 years and job growth is projected to be 7.7% by 2022.”

Davidson top producer Mirtha Barzaga honored with NEFBA Laurel Award (again!)

Congratulations go out to Mirtha Barzaga, who recently brought home her 12th NEFBA Laurel Award! She earned this year’s award in the category of “2018 Top Producer: Real Estate Agent Representing a Buyer (Individual).”

 

Mirtha’s 2018 production topped $16 million and she was recently presented with our 2018 Gold Award and Triple Crown (top closing agent, top sales agent and top listing agent).

 

“As one of the hardest working agents I know, Mirtha truly earns every accolade she receives and we’re always glad to have her on our team,” said Sherry Davidson, President of Davidson Realty.

 

Mirtha has won numerous Laurel Awards including Million Dollar Circle: Individual Realtor Representing a Buyer (2010-2017), Excellence in Marketing (2016), Best Realtor Promotional Event (2017) and Top Producer (2012 and 2018).

 

The annual Laurel Awards are presented by Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) to Realtors, builders and industry service providers for their efforts in design, construction, marketing, production and overall excellence.

 

Mirtha accepted her award at the Laurel Awards ceremony on Friday, February 1, at TIAA Bank Field in downtown Jacksonville.

Congratulations to Davidson Realty’s 2018 award honorees!

On Saturday, January 26, Davidson Realty celebrated its annual awards banquet to honor outstanding agents and staff from 2018. The masquerade style party was Brazilian Carnival themed, transporting attendees to the streets of Rio de Janeiro for an evening of delicious food, great music and well deserved awards.

 

DJ Chad Cawthon of Millennium Entertainment provided the music and Chef Shane Cheshire with Taste! Catering On The Boulevard created a custom Brazilian menu. Everyone enjoyed the event’s Instant Photocube photo booth and event photography by Tucker Joenz.

Davidson agent Jeanne Denton-Scheck installed as NEFAR President

Congratulations to our very own Jeanne Denton-Scheck, who was just installed as President of Northeast Florida Association of Realtors (NEFAR). Jeanne is a long-time Realtor who joined Davidson in 2016.

 

In her new role, Jeanne aims to involve more agents in the organization, specifically NEFAR’s younger professionals. She is also focused on encouraging members to take advantage of educational resources and courses (free to members). Jeanne spent 10 years teaching school before pursuing real estate and finds continuing education has been vital to her own growth—even after more than 20 years in the industry.

 

 

Her focus on continuing education and her extensive experience make Jeanne a great asset to NEFAR.
