King & Bear at World Golf VillageNew home shoppers are invited to join us the first Saturday of each month from 1p.m. to 4 p.m. for “Sneak Peek Saturdays” at The Neighborhoods of World Golf Village. Sneak Peek Saturdays will be open houses held in different homes in different neighborhoods each month. Refreshments will be served in one home, registration for great prizes will be held in another home and visitors will be able to meet The Neighborhoods of World Golf Village staff, ask questions and get more information about the community.

Next month’s event, our first Sneak Peek Saturday, will be held October 3 and visitors will enjoy football-themed goodies and prizes in keeping with the exciting fall football season.

Lansing_RoyDavidson Realty’s Fall Speaker Series continues next week with Lansing J. Roy, P.A., founder of Bankruptcy Law Firm of Lansing J. Roy, P.A.

The Speaker Series is designed to present current issues and trends affecting the real estate industry and homeowners.  Roy will present “Where the Housing Crisis in Northeast Florida and the Bankruptcy Court Intersect.”

Roy will discuss the potential tax consequences of losing control of a piece of real estate and provide answers to questions like, “If I lose control of a piece of property, can  I ever own and finance another home in the foreseeable future?” and much more.

Stephanie HarriettWe kick off our FREE Speaker Series tonight at 7 p.m.  Join us for wine, cheese and networking.  This month’s speaker, attorney and counselor at law Stephanie Harriett will speak at 7:30  p.m. on elder law, probate and estate planning. Come tonight to hear answers to questions like, “What are advanced directives and why do I need them?” and “If I die with debts, is my estate required to sell my homestead to pay my creditors?”

A native Floridian and a graduate of Florida Coastal School of Law, Harriett’s personal life experiences led her to practice exclusively in the areas of elder law, probate and estate planning.
