$7.5 Million in Sales for March and 13 New Construction Sales for the First Quarter! Congratulations to our Tops!

We’ve got great news all around! We had an outstanding month in sales with over $7.5 million in total sales for March and our sales for the first quarter of 2012 were up 40% from the first quarter in 2011! We are very excited to celebrate our monthly and quarterly top agents, so a big round of applause is in order for Mirtha Barzaga, Pauline Cake, and Jennifer Todd.

Mirtha BarzagaMirtha Barzaga is our Top Producer and Top Lister for the month AND our Top Lister for the first quarter. She had four closings in March – two lots in The Estates in the King & Bear and one new construction with a total of almost $500,000 closed, which just continues to show new construction is soaring! As our Top Lister, she had 8 transactions for over $850,000 in listings sold and total sales of over $1.4 million.  And, she had over $1.1 million in listings sold and over $2.2 million in total sales for the first quarter. Congratulations to Dottie, Suzy and Jennifer – Our Top Realtors in February!

We still don’t have our closing numbers where we’d like to see them, but we couldn’t be happier that new construction is still on the rise for February! The majority of our closings were new home construction and the majority of our sales were traditional this month. It’s great seeing the number of short sales and foreclosures consistently declining. In other great news, we had 28 sales coming in at $6.6 million by 18 of our St. Augustine realtors. Here are our top Realtors for February:

DottieOur Top Listing Agent for the month is Dottie Lay with over $800,000 in listings sold. Dottie sold five of her own listings in February and was one of our top agents for all of 2011. We can’t wait to see how she shines the rest of 2012!

suzyThe Top Sales Agent with the most buyer sales is Suzy Evans with over $850,000 in buyer sales and over $1 million in total sales. Suzy was also our Top Sales Agent and the winner of our social media company contest in January. She won a spot in our coveted new training program, Peak Producers, so she can take her business to the next level!

jenniferOur Top Producer is Jennifer Todd with 7 properties closed for over $800,000 in closings. Five of those properties were homesites in the King & Bear. Jennifer was our Top Lister in January and the queen of new construction! Congratulations!!

Almost every agent in our office had a transaction in February. Thank you to everyone for the hard work! We know March’s numbers are going to knock our socks off!

Meet our Top St. Augustine Realtors in January!

January did not bring the sales and closings numbers we were hoping for, but there was still a lot of great activity in Northeast Florida – particularly when it comes to new home construction! Our St. Augustine Realtors alone sold five homesites and six new construction homes in the month of January. It’s great to know new construction is happening again and there are new neighbors on the way!

jenniferThe Top Lister of the month is Jennifer Todd with $385,000 in listings sold. Jennifer’s specialty is new home construction and evaluating vacant land, but selling five lots in the month of January is impressive even for her!  All five of the homesites are in The Estates in the King & Bear – two were sold to a builder and three to individual buyers. Congratulations Jennifer!

suzyThe Top Sales Agent is Suzy Evans with over $350,000 in buyer sales. Suzy sold two new homes in January – one in World Golf Village’s premiere active adult community, The Cascades, and the other for KB Homes in Samara Lakes. You might remember Suzy from our last top’s blog on year-end awards. Suzy was our Top Sales Agent and Top Producer for all of 2011!

Jock OchiltreeOur Top Producer for January is Jock Ochiltree with close to $700,000 in closings. Jock also sold a homesite in Waterbury in World Golf Village’s King & Bear and had a total of four closings in January! Jock is our resident golf expert and would be happy to share his expertise on Jacksonville golf course communities with you.

One of the Greatest – Meet Ms. Jennifer Todd

jenniferJennifer Todd is a woman that lights up a room! Her personality cannot be matched and here at Davidson, we can’t get enough! If you haven’t had the pleasure to meet Jennifer, let me give you a little background information…

Jennifer is known for her ability to sell new home construction. She has worked for Brylen Homes, Arthur Rutenburg, Bourre Construction Group, and Woodside Homes. She began working at Davidson Realty in 2008 and we couldn’t be happier to have her.

When I think about Jennifer, I think about fun. I thought a great way to highlight her and let the people who know and love her here at Davidson get creative in describing her was to give them a mad lib to fill out about her characteristics. Here is what I got back:

No one is more southern than Jennifer Todd. If I had to describe her in two words, I’d say she’s  charming and confident. No one does builder sales like Jennifer.

Honoring Our Top Realtors for January 2010!

January was a good month for St. Augustine real estate! We had a total of 25 transactions with an average price of $272,000, which is higher than previous months. It is great to see that housing prices are picking up in St. Johns County. Fourteen different Davidson agents had a sale in January. Things are looking good!
