The new Davidson Estate Services division was created to provide peace of mind for homeowners. When you and your family are away, trust Davidson Estate Services to keep an eye on your home and those servicing it. Monthly and Pay-per-Visit options provide homeowners with tailored services to meet their needs. The Monthly Service is perfect for snowbirds or second homeowners. This service provides a weekly home visit. Each weekly visit will include a visual review and at that time all faucets will be run, all toilets will be flushed, and a report with photos of any trouble areas along with photos of any repairs will be delivered to the homeowner. On a monthly basis, the dishwasher and washing machine will be run and HVAC filters will be changed. Miscellaneous tasks such as watering plants and lawn or checking the mail can also be provided. The Pay-per-Visit service is ideal for vacationers. Homeowners will pay for each visit to the home to complete needed tasks. Davidson Estate Services also provides hourly services to assist homeowners with coordinating painters, contractors, and other general service providers to provide access to the property and oversight of the project.

When it comes to selecting an assisted living facility, one size does not fit all. That’s where Katie Mentor comes in. The Senior Advisor for Assisted Living Made Simple is dedicated to helping people find assisted living or memory care when they are no longer safe to stay at home.

 

The company, based in New Smyrna Beach, makes placements throughout much of the state. As a resident of St. Augustine, Katie concentrates on Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra and Nocatee.

 

The service, which is free to families, is focused on easing an often difficult process. As Katie puts it, “It is such a stressful transition and we do everything possible to make it easy for everyone concerned.”

Nocatee/Ponte Vedra named among fastest growing U.S. suburbs

According to Realtor.com, Nocatee currently boasts the second hottest suburban market in the country! The real estate website lists honorees by zip code (in this case, 32081). While the zip code falls with Ponte Vedra, it is locally known as Nocatee, based on the sprawling master planned community.

 

 

 

Thanks to its fantastic location and numerous other factors, Nocatee takes the #2 spot behind Apex, North Carolina (a suburb of Raleigh).

 

To find the rankings, Realtor.com analyzed more than 7,000 zip codes throughout the U.S. and compared them by commute to the nearest urban center, population growth, new construction, home appreciation over the past three years and increase in home listings over the past three years.

Heard about the $1 deal that made Ponte Vedra home to the TPC?  It’s a fascinating story, and one you can hear firsthand from the brokers of the famous deal themselves: Paul and Jerome Fletcher. The Fletchers will be our guest speakers on Thursday, September 30th as part of the Davidson Speaker Series.

Brothers Paul and Jerome Fletcher of Fletcher Management Company have been at the epicenter of local development, especially Ponte Vedra, for more than 30 years. In 1979, their $1 deal landed Ponte Vedra home to both The Tournament Players Championship and the PGA Tour headquarters.  They are equally well known for their commitment to high-quality, thoughtful development. Together they have developed major golf course communities in Jacksonville (Baymeadows), Memphis (Stonebridge), Birmingham (Inverness), St. Augustine (Palencia), and Ponte Vedra Beach (Oak Bridge and Marsh Landing).

Join us on Thursday, September 30th as The Fletchers talk about the history of St. Johns County and Ponte Vedra, and discuss their vision for the area’s future.  The casual social event starts at 7:00 pm with wine and cheese and the seminar begins at 7:30. 

The Davidson Speaker Series was started by Sherry Davidson, President, Davidson Realty, Inc. so that local professionals could share their expertise with the community. The event is held at the Davidson Realty offices, located at World Golf Village just across from Publix. Everyone’s welcome!
