2020. The year of adapting to the unknown. A global pandemic, millions of jobs lost, and a volatile economy, did not stop the real estate market from being swarmed by millions of Americans hoping to take advantage of the positive market trends and record-setting numbers.

 

The Davidson Realty Team powered through the uncertainty, the “social distancing”, and changing market trends to deliver quality real estate services to their clients. “Our team at Davidson Realty continued to stay connected to our customers during the crazy Covid year we had”, shared Davidson Realty President, Sherry Davidson. Agents gracefully navigated 2020 as they were presented with multiple offer situations due to the competitive nature of the market. Along with the excellent real estate service the Davidson Realty Team was providing, they continued to serve the Northeast Florida community, when they perhaps needed it the most. “Our team organized and participated in food and toy drives, Davidson Cares Clay Day, and Deck The Chairs. The passion our team has for serving others is inspiring. With all that our team faced in 2020, I am proud that the Davidson Realty team has matched the 2019 closing volume of $100,000,000 and exceeded 2019 sales volume by 16%,” continues Sherry. With such an exceptional year for the Davidson Realty team, it is only right that their best and brightest are recognized for their accomplishments in service and performance. The success of this team is made in part by the incredible leadership team at Davidson Realty, notably Sherry Davidson and Davidson Realty Sales and Training Manager, Andrea Gallagher.

 

Last month, Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson was named the 2020 Northeast Florida Association of Realtors (NEFAR) Circle of Honor award winner for her exceptional service and contributions to the real estate community both locally and statewide. Sherry has served NEFAR in various capacities including on its Board of Directors. She has also served on the Board of Directors for Builders Care, a charitable arm of the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA). Throughout her 30-year career in real estate, Sherry has supported real estate agent education and promoted the importance of the real estate industry’s involvement in the community. Sherry truly has led by example as she has supported various causes in Northeast Florida including NEFAR Fights Hunger and Davidson Cares Clay Day. Known throughout the First Coast as an industry leader and an authority in residential real estate, the Davidson Realty Team continues to flourish under her mentorship.

Davidson Realty’s team ended another spectacular month of real estate transactions. Davidson Realty’s team of real estate experts at our St. Augustine and Beaches offices wrapped up the month of October with thirty-three closings for a total of more than $11.6 million and twenty-nine sales for a total of more than $9.3 million in sales. The Top Producer and Top Buyer Sales Agent for the month was Mirtha Barzaga. Mirtha had more than $1.3 million in closings and $1.1 million in buyer sales. Mirtha continues to thrive at Davidson Realty and is regularly recognized as a top producer.

 

 

Suzy Evans was Davidson Realty’s Top Listing and Top Overall Sales Agent for the month of October with more than $1.5 million in total sales. Suzy’s knowledge of the local housing market and inventory, along with an extensive network of contacts, and her caring positive attitude are just a few reasons to choose Suzy for your real estate needs.

 

 

Davidson Realty’s Top Sales and Top Producing Team for the month of October was The Nemethy Group. Shelley and Tim Nemethy had more than $2 million in closings last month. Davidson Realty’s team ended another incredible month of real estate deals. Our team of real estate experts at our St. Augustine and Beaches offices finished the month of August with more than $9.5 million in closings and more than $10.5 million in sales. Congratulations to Davidson Realty’s Top Producers for their dedication last month! 

 

The Top Producer for the month of August was Suzy Evans. Suzy had more than $2 million in closings. Suzy has been a licensed Realtor® since 1992. With her extensive knowledge of real estate in Northeast Florida and many years of experience, Suzy is a natural! 

 

 

 

Davidson Realty’s Top Sales Agent for the month of August was Liz Pappaceno. Liz had more than $1 million in buyer sales and is eager to help more clients find their dream home. Thanks to her involvement in Davidson Cares and other charities, she has also been recognized as one of Davidson Realty’s most philanthropic agents.  

 

 

Mirtha Barzaga was Davidson Realty’s Top Listing Agent with more than $975,000 in listings sold. Mirtha is a Certified Negotiation Expert which is the premier designation in real estate for advanced negotiation skills to help clients achieve their goals. 

 

 

 

For the sixth month in a row, Davidson Realty’s Top Producing Team was The Nemethy Group with more than $2 million in closings. Together, Tim and Shelley, have had more than $30 million in sales since The Nemethy Group was established in 2018. 

 

 

 

The Braddock Team was the Top Sales Team in August. Michael Braddock and Sarah Poehler had more than $1 million in sales. The Braddock Team specializes in investment properties and property management while striving to ensure a positive experience for homeowners and tenants by streamlining the rental process. 

 

 

 

For the second month in a row, Davidson Realty’s Jacksonville Beach Real Estate office had Caitlyn Hawkins as their Top Producer. Caitlyn had more than $1.2 million in closings. Born and raised in Ponte Vedra, Caitlyn has first-hand experience of all the wonderful things the First Coast has to offer. 

 

 

 

Candy Gil was Davidson Realty’s Top Sales Agent for our Jacksonville Beach office last month with more than $700,000 in sales. Candy believes open and clear communication is the key to a successful relationship with her clients.

The Top Producer with the most closings for the month is Suzy Evans. Suzy had five closings for more than $2.5 Million. Suzy’s years of experience are evident in her service to her clients. She is ranked in the Top 2% of all Northeast Florida Realtors.

Davidson Realty’s Top Listing Agent for the month of July was Candy Gil with more than $450,000 in listings sold. Candy helped two of her clients sell their homes. Candy is dedicated to her clients and particularly enjoys working with first-time home buyers and downsizing retirees. 

 

 

 

Once again, Shelley and Tim Nemethy of The Nemethy Group were Davidson Realty’s Top Producing and Top Sales Team. Shelley and Tim had more than $3.8 Million in closings and more than $2.6 Million in sales for the month of July. Team Nemethy is an incredibly dynamic duo and continues to provide top-notch service to their clients.

 

 

Caitlyn Hawkins was Davidson Realty’s Top Producer for our Jacksonville Beach office last month. Caitlyn had more than $525,000 in closings and continues to help homeowners quickly sell their homes. In addition to her passion for Real Estate, Caitlyn enjoys blogging on a variety of topics ranging from Design to Real Estate Tips.

Davidson Welcomes Dedicated New Agent Candy Gil

We are pleased to welcome a new agent Candy Gil to the Davidson Realty team of pros.  An experienced cross-cultural communicator, Candy brings to her new position a great ear for listening to client needs and an inspired passion for real estate.  Says Davidson Realty President Sherry Davidson, “Candy understands the value of maintaining open communication with clients and doing her best to meet their needs.  We’re glad to have Candy on our team.”

Born in Cuba’s Oriente province, Candy and her family relocated to Miami when she was nine years old.  After marrying her high school sweetheart, she spent several busy years welcoming children Vanessa and Edward and undergoing family relocations.  The Gil family settled in Jacksonville in 1982.  She then dedicated six years to Christ Church preschool as the school’s first Spanish teacher and spent several years as an English/Spanish interpreter.
