Davidson Realty Plans West St. Augustine Neighborhood For Habitat For Humanity

Davidson Realty, Inc. recently partnered with Habitat for Humanity of St. Augustine/ St. Johns County to plan and design Canopy Oaks, a newly proposed Habitat neighborhood in West St. Augustine with eight townhomes and 11 single-family homes.

The neighborhood will feature home clusters designed around shared driveways, a new approach to planning and building Habitat communities, which helps to utilize land efficiently and reduce costs. Read more

Davidson Realty Closes First Public Contract In TrailMark Community

Congratulations to Davidson Realty agents Jock Ochiltree and Leah Ochiltree, who closed the first public contract in TrailMark, a new residential community in northern St. Johns County. Team Ochiltree closed the contract with buyer Daphney Jirau for a DR Horton home. The contract was only the second in the entire community, the first being a corporate sale. Read more

Team Davidson Lends a Hand (and a Hammer) to Habitat for Humanity

Several agents and staff from Davidson Realty recently supported Habitat for Humanity of St. Augustine/St. Johns County by helping with construction of a local home on Saturday, May 2. The event was part of Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build Week 2015.

Davidson’s team of volunteers included realtors Shelley Nemethy, Margherite Myers, Erin Mount, Gail George and Listing Coordinator Vicki Wilder. Gail is also a board member at Habitat for Humanity of St. Augustine/St. Johns County. Read more

Tim Whalen Brings Years of Customer-Focused Experience to Davidson

Originally from Rochester, New York, Tim earned a degree at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York. He relocated to Jacksonville in 1999 where he worked as an account manager for a national radiology and imaging equipment and supply company. The NEFAR Market Stats for September 2013 begins its summary with “Do you hear that? Hummmmm. That’s the delightful sound of normalcy. Buyers are buying, sellers are selling, lenders are lending and builders are building.” Our monthly closing report for Davidson Realty shows 32% of our closings were new construction,  59% were traditional (normal) closings and only  9% were  foreclosures or short sales.
