A big Davidson Realty welcome to another new real estate professional in our World Golf Village office: Ken Kochan. Ken has in-depth financial experience thanks to many years of accounting and controller experience. “Ken is an astute ‘numbers guy’ who can offer his clients valuable investment insights and financial guidance when it comes to their real estate transactions,” says President Sherry Davidson.

Ken started his career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche (formerly known as Touche Ross) and went on to work for Fortune 500 companies as well as small entrepreneurial firms.  His career included financial managerial positions with media companies, including Gannett Co, Inc. and CBS News where he was responsible for the finances of news bureaus worldwide.  He also served as Controller for a local Jacksonville importer/wholesaler whose customers included many major consumer goods retailers such as Wal-Mart, CVS and Publix.  Ken graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS Degree in Accounting. Meet Our New Property Manager: Shelby Heinemann

shelbyWe’re thrilled to welcome a World Golf Village neighbor to our team.  Shelby Heinemann, a Heritage Landing resident for seven years, has joined Davidson Property Management, Inc. as Property Manager.  According to Shelby, “This is a very exciting time in property management. The market is strong, rental prices are on the rise and owners are seeing a consistent cash flow.”

A licensed agent, Shelby brings five years of experience as a property manager and Realtor to her new position.  She has completed coursework at the Property Management Academy and she belongs to the National Association of Residential Property Managers. Another Great Month of Sales in April – Congratulations to Mirtha, Jennifer and Pauline!

A new month, but the ladies remain on top! Last month, we recognized Davidson agents Mirtha Barzaga, Pauline Cake and Jennifer Todd for their achievements in March and the first quarter of 2012. Well, they are still on fire and so is the rest of the Davidson team with over $4.1 million in closings and over $5.7 million in sales for April!

Mirtha closed two homesites in the King & Bear, one of which came with a coveted golf membership to the King & Bear golf course, a one-time-only collaboration by Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer. And, Mirtha helped a family relocate from Heritage Landing to their dream home in Georgia.  Mirtha was our Top Producer and Top Lister in March and the Top Lister for the first quarter. $7.5 Million in Sales for March and 13 New Construction Sales for the First Quarter! Congratulations to our Tops!

We’ve got great news all around! We had an outstanding month in sales with over $7.5 million in total sales for March and our sales for the first quarter of 2012 were up 40% from the first quarter in 2011! We are very excited to celebrate our monthly and quarterly top agents, so a big round of applause is in order for Mirtha Barzaga, Pauline Cake, and Jennifer Todd.

Mirtha BarzagaMirtha Barzaga is our Top Producer and Top Lister for the month AND our Top Lister for the first quarter. She had four closings in March – two lots in The Estates in the King & Bear and one new construction with a total of almost $500,000 closed, which just continues to show new construction is soaring! As our Top Lister, she had 8 transactions for over $850,000 in listings sold and total sales of over $1.4 million.  And, she had over $1.1 million in listings sold and over $2.2 million in total sales for the first quarter.
